Amanda Carlile is the principal/senior practitioner and is a Registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor for provisionally registered psychologists. Amanda has been working in private practice since 2010 and has worked extensively in both the private and public sectors. Amanda works with patients aged 15 years and older across all mental health disorders. Her specialisiation is in treating patients with Bipolar, PTSD, Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression.

Emma Hutchins

Emma Hutchins is a Registered Psychologist and has worked in the public/community sector since 2012. Emma has worked extensively with children, adolescents and their families and works with children aged from 5 years to adults. Her specialisation is working with children and adolescents experiencing impacts of trauma, loss or grief, as well as anxiety and depression. She further has an interest in working with family connections, self-esteem building, social skills, and resilience building. Emma is currently on Maternity Leave and hopes to return in mid 2021.

Daniel Bredhauer

Daniel is a Registered Psychologist who has worked in the mental health and disability sector since 2011. Daniel's previous work focused on building inclusive communities for people with psychological and physical disabilities. His specialisation is working with adults who have experienced trauma, drug dependence and mood disorders. His other interests include assertiveness and motivation. 

Michelle Savill

Michelle is a Provisionally Registered Psychologist working in collaboration and under supervision of principle/senior practitioner Amanda Carlile.  Michelle’s journey to full registration included working across various roles in mental health such as her time as crisis counsellor and as researcher in suicide prevention and early childhood education and care. Michelle also worked as facilitator for individuals who suffered with severe and persistent mental illness in a care coordinator role. Prior to settling into her role at Think Positive Psychology Michelle undertook placement in a school to gain experience working with the educational and emotional needs of school aged children. Michelle has a developing interest in post natal depression, childhood cognitive and educational assessments, and parenting programs and education. Other interests include her focus on trauma, anxiety/depression, and self-esteem. Michelle has a desire to focus on individual strengths and is passionate about guiding each individual to reach their full potential.
